Abasyn University Peshawar was established in 2007 and got approval of its charter in 2009 from the Provisional Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) via bill No. PA/NWFP/Bills/2009/38457, N-W.F.P.Act No. XIII of 2009.
Abasyn University established a distinctive new campus in the city of Peshawar which is spread over a lush green area of multiple acres. Pakistan Engineering Council has accredited Civil and Electrical (Power) Engineering Program. HEC's National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) has also accredited BS in computer science and BS in software engineering. Abasyn University was the first University of KPK having been placed in the highest category 'W' by HEC right away.
In order to provide best academic resources and high class education. The University decided to launch a unique school system which will help to build analytical and logical skills based on modern scientific concepts keeping our eastern and Islamic values. The University has decided to establish the first two Campuses in Peshawar and Swat. The network shall be extended to other cities very soon. The system has the patronage of the best academicians and experienced administrators who have graduated from top institutes and have got the potential to infuse enthusiasm and confidence into the personalities of the younger generation.
